Prisms & Polarizers
Prisms are optical elements having flat polished faces, reflecting prisms can be used to change an incident beam to achieve inversion, reversion, deviation and displacement. Prisms used to achieve dispersion are known as dispersing prisms. Ealing offers a wide selection of types of prisms including right angle prisms, equilateral prisms, anamorphic prism pairs, penta prisms, dove prisms, Brewster prisms and littrow prisms. Materials offer by Ealing include BK7, F2, SF10 and Fused silica.
Polarization can be a complex subject. Determining the correct polarization component for your application is dependent on many factors including the initial polarization state of light, desired polarization state, wavelength range, aperture and acceptance angle, damage threshold and quality desired. Ealing offers cube polarizers, crystal polarizers, sheet polarizers and both zero and multiple order waveplates that can meet a range of polarization requirements.
